View Full Version : 3 remanded for vandalizing Kovil statues

Three suspects, including a Buddhist monk, have been remanded on the charge of having vandalized statues at a Hindu Kovil in Colombo.

Grand Pass Police arrested the trio after the incident at Sri Muttumari Amman Kovil last night (Sept. 04th).

They were produced them before Colombo Additional Magistrate Ajith Anawaratne today, and were ordered to be kept in remand custody till September 09th.

yeah saw this on news today. they have broken a few statues which were kept ready for a religious ceremony which was to be held today in da kovil.
