I Knew a Girl..
I once knew a girl,
Who wasn't afraid to speak her mind.
She was confident of her singing,
And barely ever lied.
I once knew a girl,
Who didn't doubt who she was.
She would help a friend in need,
Without a second thought.

Who was beautiful in every way.
She shone like the sun,
And she smiled every day.

Who only lived in the now.
She could truly be happy,
I still wonder how.

Who was young and innocent.
She wanted to help others,
So that's how her time was spent.
