Finally Its Active and The first beam was circulated through the collider today, This is a Very special moment for Particle Physics and Physics in general And to us all, Finally this will be the thing that will probably discover the Higgs Boson AKA God particle that will enable to create a grand Unified theory of Physics, Bravo to the Great minds who worked for decades to bring this Pinnacle of Human Engineering to life. even google knows this is a Important moment...just look at the google logo. :D

Great work yeah . . .but the fun part is some ppl predicted this will be the end of the world. lol

This is an important milestone . . . but the higgs boson is not the last "particle" needed to be discovered. To dig deeper and for better understanding more powerful particle acclerators will be needed in the future.

A good time ahead for the doomsayers.
