Putting the rumours about NVIDIA not allowing their AICs to overclock their 8800 cards to rest, XFX has just announced the 8800 GTX XXX and 8800 GTS XXX factory overclocked cards.
The 8800 GTX XXX comes with a core clock frequency set to 630MHz and a memory frequency of 1.0GHz (2.0GHz effective), an impressive 55MHz over the stock core frequency and 100MHz over the stock memory frequency. The 8800 GTS XXX is similarly overclocked. It's core frequency is set to 550MHz, 50MHz over stock, and it's memory is set to 900MHz (1.8GHz effective), 100MHz over stock.
There's no word on pricing, but you can obviously expect these cards to carry a premium over their stock counterparts.
This is one hell of a card.
