Hey guys I have been having this problem lately.When ever I leave something to be downloaded on utorrent after about 30 minutes I loose my internet connection.What happens is that it does not show that my computer is disconnected but instead the icon below appears on my task bar.I cant even disconnect so that I can reconnect online.I always have to restart my p.c and redial.
In the below screen shot I have magnified the icon in question.Please help:(

This icon shows that u have limited connection...you havent disconnected from the net..but u can browse only limited sites...like if you are uing SLT adsl,it just allow you to browse their sites only....I dont why is that...Are u using SLT adsl

this says ADSL line is not down its there.dialup connection to SLT Server Downs..this may be a virus or etc..

not sure...when does this happen?I mean when you get calls to your domestic phone?

It usually happens when I leave the p.c on to download somthing without using the p.c for anything else

Sometimes your pc automatically disconnects from the internet when you are not using it...check it...your configuration

I'm using xp,bro...no idea about vista..here is how to do it in xp
