Kent and Dollar Farm massacres are one of the earliest civilian massacres carried out by the LTTE. Both these incidents were took place on November 30, 1984,at two tiny villages in the district of Mullaitivu. LTTE had already promised to make all the north and east as the exclusive homeland of Tamils, and began their campaign of ethnic cleansing in the 1980's.Both Sinhalese and Muslim communities of Northern Province and Eastern Province suffered enormous losses of lives and property due to enormous suicide attacks and massacres carried out by the LTTE in the name of ethnic cleansing.

Kokilai massacre, since its inception in 1974 LTTE, a military organization based in Sri Lanka, which has been banned in over 20 countries due to its terrorist activities, has caused immense loss of civilian lives by engaging activities which can be defined as acts of terrorism. These activities includes numerous suicide attacks, which they have been carrying out for over 20 years and massacres of innocent civilians. One of their earliest village massacres was carried out on a November 30, 1984, and it took them only a day to repeat it.
