Black Caps gloveman Brendon McCullum is not turning his back on the media, even after copping some heavy criticism for the Muttiah Muralitharan run out.
McCullum has been called unsportsmanlike and even a disgrace for removing the bails when Muralitharan went to congratulate Sri Lankan centurion Kumar Sangakkara.
McCullum says it hurts, especially when family and friends relay the articles to him.
He jokes he feels like Craig McMillan at the moment, but overall he has had a good run with the media so he can't complain.
McCullum says he's no cheat and doesn't deserve a bad reputation, when he simply plays to the limits.
He says it was stupidity on Muralitharan's part to venture out of his crease and the relationship with the tourists has become a bit frosty.

Fine, it's his problem for leaving the crease.

Dodgy, Fleming should have called him back.
