FarCry is using about 50% of my CPU at ultra settings. I say dual core is enough unless you are into lots of video processing. But then again, a CPU isn't enough. You need a very fast hard drive setup for video :)

FarCry is using about 50% of my CPU at ultra settings. I say dual core is enough unless you are into lots of video processing. But then again, a CPU isn't enough. You need a very fast hard drive setup for video :) agree :D

At the same clock, no. But duo's clocks are higher AND they OC higher (without exotic gear)

Either way, a the performance improvement from a VGA upgrade is way dramatic than a CPU upgrade. WAAAAAAAAAAY DRAMATIC :D

there was sum tests done usuing the geforce 7800s and Radeon X800 i remember..the FPS deiiferance was about 1-2 frames..thats nuthin..
