I need at least 1280x960, which means I can't but a 15" LCD ever. I need at least a 17" one, if I have to buy an LCD.

well I dont know about the difference........coz im also not using it........I had to buy a multimedia one coz that was what was available. Im having a 5.1 sound system........so no point in using multimedia in the monitor.

It doesn't cost much.........but I dont remember the prize I bought........It was around 7500........but about 1 year back. If u r going for a 5.1 sound system then its the best option I guess.......coz it has better base quality than creative or any other brands that i hav seen:yes:

well mainly there were 2 models........one ovel shaped speakers and one square shaped.........ovel shaped one costs more(almost twice the price), but I didnt like the sound(also the controllers were on the subwoofer). The square shaped one which i bought has a better sound quality.
