IBM is good , but it costs verymuch ! ,

My friend has got a 17" wide LCD , it was Panora one ,
and he did cost it 13,500 rupees , its Brand new one but with no warranty

NEVER buy PANORA!! If u want to see why go to pc house technical and see! They have some in the reception area and most are having color problems! Search da web and u'll find that best LCD panels are Samsung or NEC.I've got a Samsung 920N and a 226BW and both are brilliant! Try to go for a samsung one if u want better pic quality!!;)

I am using a Viewsonic VX2255wm this is a 22inch wide screen model.Been using it for a few months now and so far it's quite good.However to get the best results you have to set your resolution to about 1680x1050

machan 943 NWX isn't fully made in S.korea , it is assembled in India, thats why it has got a very low price tag ompared with others (View sonic goes for 28k, Sony 38k+). though dealers say it is good, still cannot say the quality. you'll have to wait atleast 1 year. AFAIK still no failures reported, nothing to worry abt ,youv'e 3 yrs warranty ne.

mage gawa 14inch 1k tiyenawa dan ekata aurudu 10ta wadi thama elakiriwage wada...no repairs!!

Never buy Panora..After about a month what you'll see is thousands of DEAD Pixels on your screen..you cant claim warranty for dead pixels right.
So beware.(I had one....!)

From my experience, I think ACER is way ahead of the others.metropolitan is the authorized dealer in SL for Acer.

And Samsung and viewsonic ar also good.
