A Desi came to America visiting and for an opportunity of
Visa decided to do business. He went to Bank for a loan of a thousand dollars.
The loan officer looked at his loan application and asked him,
"And Sir what will you do with our money we loan you/"
"Oh, I will buy counterfeit Bollywood CDs and DVDs from India and sell it in USA." Desi firmly replied.
"And Sir, What do you have for Collateral? asked the banker,
"Collateral? What the hell is that? you mean guarantee?" Desi expressed surprised.
"Yes?" replied the banker.
"Oh I have this thirty years old clinker pick up truck?"
"No...! that is not good enough for my loan. Any way we will loan you the money."
Enterprising Desi turned thousand dollars into several thousand dollars and with
pocket full came to the Bank and gave the banker his thousand dollars back.
"Well, I see you now have lots of money. Why don't you let us keep your money in our bank where
we can take care of you, and also we can do loan business." Asked the Banker.
Desi thought deeply and then asked with gravity, "And Sir, What do you have for collateral?"
