The price depends on the brand i guess..
Brands like JVC, Altec Lansing, Sennheiser are bloody expensive i think...
touching the 10k's..
So you might wanna go for a Genius or A4 Tech headset..
Though they are Chinese, quality wise i dnt think there's a huge difference..
But the durability factor is some what questionable..
but at the end of the day you area better off paying 3k for a Chinese brand than spending 10-12k on a branded babe.. ;)

Agreed. i hav a sony headset that i bought from US, cost me like $100 but its worth the spending. the sound quality is awesome. the headset stand recharge the battaries in the headset, therefore, no worries about power running out. very durable also.
but if u are buying in SL, go for a mid range one. the good once are very expensive. i recomend getting a RF one. compared to bluetooth and IR headsets, RF is more practical. my one has abt 200 ft radius, and even can hear when im like behind 3-4 walls.
but bluetooth doesn't have a large range and in the IR thingy u hav to be in line of site and with in a certain angel to get good signal. but in both IR and bluetooth if u are in the range the reception is better than RF. still i'll go with RF. Hope it helps. i think i saw couple of headsets in Unity Plaza.
