Night At The Museum
Good-hearted dreamer Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) thinks he's destined for something big, despite being perpetually down on his luck.
Tired of constantly letting his son down with his hair-brained schemes, Larry takes a menial job as a graveyard-shift security guard at the Museum of Natural History.
During his watch, extraordinary things begin to occur. At night, the displays come to life, as a result of an ancient curse and wreak havoc.
Larry has to deal with a T-Rex roaming the hallways. As well as the cowboys lead by Jed (Owen Wilson) waging epic battles on the Roman Gladiators and their leader, Octavius (Steve Coogan).
And as if that isn't enough to contend with then, Larry also has to deal with a Neanderthal who burns down his own display in a quest for fire as Attila the Hun pillages his neighbouring exhibits.
Amidst the chaos, the only person Larry can turn to for advice is a wax figure of President Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams), who helps our hero harness the bedlam, stop a nefarious plot, and ultimately save the museum.
The man who's been forever waiting for his moment of greatness – just found it.
Night At The Museum is the recipe for the perfect comedy movie with the clash of international comedy greats including Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller representing Stateside and Ricky Gervais and Steve Coogan flying the flag for the Brits.
Throw in Robin Williams and Dick Van Dyke and the result is a very enjoyable, amusing and entertaining family film.
So when your family is fed up of eating turkey, the excitement of the presents has worn off and you've realised that there is nothing on television, then get down to the cinema to see this film.
Night At The Museum will be released on Tuesday 26th December.
