What is the biggest computer hardware failure/fault you've ever faced?

My Radeon 9700Pro video card's memory got corrupted as it got very hot. This happened about 1.5 years after purchasing it. :(

I accidently blew up a psu(HP-Branded), The dealer said a new one would cost around Rs.15000! So i got it fixed for Rs. 750 :lol:

I plugged in a scanner's usb cable, suddenly the system hanged. No response. Restarted, everthing is running smooth except keyboard + mouse, coz ps2 ports have gone down! usb ones were pricy those days, so bought a new board straight away

AMD Athlon 1.3 GHz last one to come on a porcelane die..
[I didnt tried that multiplier hack and cache hack on that,really.by shorting 2 copper dots u could get additional 128 KB cache on that CPU!!!]

Not on the Keyboard! probably it went inside from the fan vent I guess!!! Anyway...my warranty was long gone by then... and I sold the parts for about Rs.10k

man,buy a K800 bro.Its with sony cybershot 3.15 cam with Carl Zeiss optics,Germany.gr8 to take photoes than nokia.but night shots will be some what low qaulity than nokia.Its around 46k,nokia is that prize too,eh?
