Not really. Asus boards are solid and good performers, but Gigabyte ones have more mumbo-jumbo stuff, if you know what you mean: such as 12-phase power, solid state capacitors etc. If they got together, then we'll have perfect motherboards, but because the competitiveness gets low, it might not be a good thing after all.
