Firefox problem....

I'm havin a trouble with my firefox browser...everytime i restart the application my network configuration settings are missin...so i hav to add them all over again....is this becos of a virus...???
Please smbody help meeeee.....:(:(:(

uninstall it and install it gain. If also having same problem. scan from a virus guard.
