I don't think you can use a Virtual ROM to install this.. U need to burn this to a DVD

Did that Error give you an option to browse the files that setup needed ? if yes copy all the files from your Virtual image to a Folder in your HDD before you start the installation and then try to browse that folder when the error comes up. Or if there's a setup exe inside your virtual ROM copy all the files like I told before to your HDD and try to run the setup exe from there... I'm not sure abt this...but u can give it a try
