JHU organized a strong protest against fundamentalist Christian, pro LTTE NGO 'ZOA Refugee Care'
The media Center for National Security has reveled that the KandikudichchiAru LTTE camp was equipped with a hospital funded by a fundamentalist Christian NGO called "ZOA Refugee Care" of the Netherlands.
The STF who overran this LTTE camp discovered this medical facility proving the link these Christian Churches have with the LTTE Terrorists.
JHU hold a strong protest against the "ZOA Refugee Care" Colombo office at 136/2 Issipathana Mawatha, Colombo 05.
The protest march started near the Issipathanaramaya Temple,Colombo 05 at 4.00 P.M. today (11.01.2007) and march went to the ZOA Refugee Care head office. Over hundred JHU supporters including monks headed by the two parliamentarians Ven.Akmeemana dayarathana Thero, Colombo District MP, and JHU Kandy district MP Ven.Udawaththe Nanada Thero who demanded that the Government should take immediate action to investigate this case under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) and arrest the culprits and confiscate all their property if the allegation is found to be true.
A letter in this regard would be presented to H.E. President Mahinda Rajapakse by JHU Leader Most Ven. Puravidya Chakravarthi Ellawela Medhanandha Nayaka Thero M.P.
