I never could get the old versions to sound the way I liked. So I didn't try them after a few versions. :( Still I'm skeptical about it.

but try Wmp Dolby surround plug ins which is much better than this

I don't think I really need a plug-in like that. I think the graphics equalizer that comes with WMP is enough. I wonder if my integrated audio driver's software works with Vista. I haven't tried that yet. It had some cool effects

Yeah. But on mine, I still haven't tried it, because Vista installed the driver automatically :)
