A Chinese woman was murdered at her rented annex at Perahera Road, Kollupitiya early yesterday, police said. According to police San Ya Ji,45, was murdered at her annex in Kollupitiya.
The woman was murdered around 3.00 a.m. The body with several injuries was found by her friend the next day, Police said.
Police said the motive for the killing is still not known. The victim had been in Sri Lanka for over two years. Kollupitiya police is investigating.
