Yes, I am talking about a FREE tool to convert your torrent file to a .exe file with which you can directly download the files without any torrent client application installed on your system.

This application is called Torrent2Exe ,as the name suggest it Convert torrents into stand-alone exe files and download them without a client.

The application is really useful for those who do not want to install a torrent client which downloads the files instead by connecting to peers and seeds.

The application offers a simple two-step approach to downloading torrent files without using a client.

How to use?

The only things you will need to do are to enter the URL of a torrent file or the path to it on your computer, select the size of the exe file to be generated and obtain an executable file (*.exe) that will download your torrent file automatically.

This simply embeds the torrent file in to a small standalone torrent client. So when you run it, it will run the executable torrent client and start it on the torrent file you just packed it with, just as a uTorrent or Deluge or what ever client does.

It does exactly what a Client Does (without having to install it, but how hard is installing a client? seriously)... so you won't see any performance increases, the only thing you will see is a performance decrease since mature clients are well tested and developed, compared to this which is not.

Hey bro I just tested this. A small window pops up when you run this and it shows the % you have downloaded, you can also pause the download and minimize it to the system tray.

As for the speed I ran the same torrent in Utorrent for 5 mins and then 5 mins on this program and the download speed on this program was faster. Maybe it was faster on this proogram beacuse the torrent was good (had good amount of seeder) I'll do few more tests later and post the results...
