It opens couple of instance of IE, but not as serious as what's shown on that video :)

Ok, not a couple. If you waited a few minutes, there will be a lot of instances. The problem becomes a headache only if you have a fast internet connection. I was downloading some files, so the bandwidth left for IE was too low to load much sites in quick succession.

and what happened
Several instances of Internet Explorer processes opened up, each having different sites. (pop ups) I left it only for about 1 minute, and 5 such pop ups popped up :) Nothing dangerous happened, I guess.
But be careful. I did this on a virtual machine.:)
