How many of you overclock at least one part of your PC? What is it (are they)? By how much?

I have overclocked system RAM and Video card.

System RAM
Default 667MHz at 1.8V (5-5-5-15 timings) to 800MHz at 1.8V (5-5-5-15 timings)
16.67% overclock

Video card
Core, default 400MHz with 12 pixel pipelines to 500MHz with 16 pixel pipelines
66.67% overclock (performance wise)
Memory, 490MHz to 520MHz
6.12% overclock. Too less :(

I guess overclockers dont exist in this island . But yeah the mostwanted just came in

Only my VGA is overclocked, Nvidia 7600GS, which has 12 pixelpipelines

Default core clock: 350mhz
Default memory clock: 533mhz

oc'ed core clock: 500mhz (42% , 150mhz +)
oc'ed memory clock: 800mhz (50% , 267mhz +)

btw am bad @ math

After ocing @ 2500 MHz I installed Rivatuner and tried it.It actually said it is ok[u knw I am crazy]
But I was so afraid afterwards and quickly got the stocks.
Never tried MSI driver for the VGA.It is very easy to OC with it.I've never installed it.Might try some other time...

You should overclock when you still have the warranty. Besides, if it doesn't give artifacts after running a torture test it's safe to use those clocks. (there are certain programs that test for artifacts, but for nVidia, I don't know which program you should try)

19" LCDs use about 30W, and 17" CRTs use about 100W!!! Wonder if I might be able to get dad to understand it, and go for an LCD sooner than later.

But it's the CPU which does the processing ne? There isn't anything like hardware acceleration in video cards, when it comes to audio cards. Audio cards can only reproduce audio signals from audio information :)

Anyway, you can make your CDRW & DVDRW faster (if supported) by using a firmware of a higher model; but only if the hardware is the same and the speeds are low only because they are limited by firmware.
But this is not "really" overclocking, because a "clock" is not involved.
