New law that says bus tickets should be issued as tickets with the carbon paper?

When I was travelling from the slt to home these tikkas at rathmalana stopped the bus and asked the condoctor to bring the tickets. He had them and they were issued to the passengers as well. But they fined 1500 telling that a new law was published yesterday saying that buses should issue carbon tickets (CTB bus type). Not printed ones.
I never heard a law like that in yesterday night's news and its damn unfair to fine like that:angry: :angry: :angry: they should give at least a week to change tickets.

it is unfair to do like dat. but do u think these checkers accept da digital printed ticket. that is da ticket dat is printed at the point of issueing wit da details of da travel??i think they shud accept it coz it was sold to da bus so's by da government.!!

this case of issuing bus tickets is some thing totally stupid. When there're guys to check for the tickets people have trouble finding the correct ticket.
