Cannot save .PSD in to .Jpeg

Hi,

I have photoshop 7 and when i try to save my .psd file as a .jpeg its saved as a jpef file unable to open it. I just checked on internet and some suggest its a problem with layers. I even flattened the image and save and save as .jpeg still I cant open it.

Any ideas?
