Hehe, nice work for a Kit lens, never would have thought.

You seem to have a very good eye (I am loving the people pictures), I would highly suggest you get use a 50mm 1.8 equivalent to narrow the DoF to really bring out the people in your pictures.

Actually that lens is very good, a lot better than the equivalent canon 18-55mm lens, yeah I,m going to get the New AF-S DX Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 D Prime lens very soon, its not available in SL yet.

Yeah its Horton Plains National Park, all my Photographs are taken in SL
