Hehe. There is no performance difference at all. At times, it's even faster. The only thing that's causing a lag in performance, if any at all, is the immature drivers (from nVidia as well as ATI) :yes: :yes:

Oh an I just forgot. When running a full screen 3D application, Aero automatically turns off. :sorry:

Because it's not needed, and to let the 3D app use the full power of the video card. This is not the case if you run it in window mode. (such as the games that come with Vista)

No, not really. The differences in performance are quite random behaviour. It has nothing to do with Aero Glass. What's important is that it doesn't bring down the performance.

In powerful PC's I guess... (vga and system ram powered)

No men. It completely turns off when launching a full screen 3D app. There is no performance hit on any machine. (but it might take a bit longer to turn off Aero Glass)

Yes it does. There is a flashing of the screen - like a refresh...:)
