Episode 1: Chapter One 'The Second Coming'

Sylar confronts Elle at the Company and 12 villains escape due to an ensuing battle. Meanwhile, Claire finds out more about her ability and Ando travels with Hiro to Paris in pursuit of a speedster named Daphne.

Bennet and his new partner go after four villains at a bank heist. Peter tries to determine what goes wrong in the future. Hiro and Ando meet the Haitian in Germany. Tracy Strauss looks for information about Niki.

Episode 4: Chapter Four 'I Am Become Death'

Future Claire hunts down Peter (who obtains a dangerous ability) in order to save the world. Tracy finds out about her origins while Mohinder learns more about his power. Hiro and Ando try to break out of the Company's prison, and have to dig Adam back up.

Episode 5: Chapter Five 'Angels and Monsters'

Claire faces Stephen Canfield, an escaped villain that can create vortices. Peter has returned from the future, which he discovers has affected him deeply. After Adam is unhelpful in finding the formula, Hiro tries to befriend Daphne and Knox. Mohinder puts Maya in a bad situation while trying to correct errors in his research. Linderman tells Nathan to stay with Tracy, so that they can make great accomplishments.

Episode 6: Chapter Six 'Dying of the Light'

Hiro and others accept offers to join Pinehearst Industries. After the Company is paralyzed, Peter goes to Pinehearst, its rival, for information. Claire and Sandra try to save Meredith from Doyle, one of the escaped villains. Nathan and Tracy come to Mohinder to learn where their abilities came from.

Episode 7: Chapter Seven 'Eris Quod Sum'

Having become monstrous, Mohinder attacks Nathan and Tracy, who try to save Maya and other subjects. Elle surprises the Bennet family. Angela tries to convince Sylar to save Peter from Pinehearst. Daphne is ordered to kill Matt for not joining the villains. Hiro doubts Usutu's advice on how to handle his opponents.

Episode 8: Villains

To prepare for an eventual showdown with his foes, Hiro investigates defining moments in the pasts of Arthur Petrelli, Sylar, and Flint. He discovers that Meredith Gordon is Flint's older sister, and Arthur Petrelli ordered Linderman to kill Nathan, but ended up injuring Nathan's wife, Heidi, and that Arthur survived his supposedly fatal heart attack.

Episode 9: Chapter Nine 'It's Coming'

Hiro escapes Arthur but believes himself to be ten years old. Arthur sends Knox and Flint to capture Peter and Claire. Ando helps Hiro re-discover his powers. Nathan has mixed feelings after meeting his father, but Tracy promises Arthur that she will persuade Nathan to join him. Sylar learns to access his empathy and reconciles with Elle. Mohinder begins testing a new combination of the formula and discovers the need for a catalyst. Matt wakes Angela from her coma.

Episode 10: Chapter Ten 'The Eclipse Part 1'

A second eclipse causes all of the heroes to lose their abilities. Arthur sends Elle and Sylar to capture Claire, who is under the care of her father and training to be able to fight off the villains. Claire is shot by Elle and can't heal without her powers. Elsewhere, Peter and Nathan go in search of The Haitian, while Matt, Hiro and Ando follow Daphne to find out what she has been hiding.

Episode 11: Chapter Eleven 'The Eclipse - Part 2'

While the eclipse continues to affect the Heroes powers, Noah attempts to get revenge on Sylar and Elle for shooting Claire whose condition is worsening. Nathan comes to a shocking decision while working with Peter to help the Haitian face his brother, Baron Samedi. In the meantime, Ando, Sam, and Frack use the 9th Wonders! comics to try and restore Hiro's memory who is reluctant to become an adult after seeing the death that lies with it.

Episode 12: Chapter Twelve 'Our Father'

To stop Arthur once and for all, Hiro and Claire travel back 16 years in time to when Hiro's father, Kaito, handed baby Claire to Noah, while Peter teams up with the Haitian to finally stop Arthur, only to be intercepted by Sylar. In the meantime, Mohinder has a major breakthrough in the formula after Arthur obtains the catalyst that will change everything and the catalyst is lost forever.

Episode 13: Chapter Thirteen 'Dual'

Noah, Claire, Angela, and Meredith find themselves trapped at the Primatech by Sylar who locks them in the building and subjects them all to various mind games. Meanwhile, Matt, Daphne, and Ando seek refuge at the Mendez loft where Daphne plans to steal a sample of the power-giving formula to give to Ando who wants to rescue the powerless Hiro still trapped 16 years in the past, who continues to struggle to find his true origins with his younger self. Back in the present, Peter faces off against Nathan, Tracy and the security detail at Pinehurst to stop Mohinder from reproducing the formula, and finds allies in the form of Knox as well as Flint who also want to stop the production of the formula, leading to a fiery showdown for all.

Episode 14: Chapter One 'A Clear and Present Danger'

Two months after the destruction of both the Primatech and Pinehurst, and the death of Arthur Petrelli, the now-villainous Nathan returns with a vengeance by persuading the U.S. President and the government to round up all people with abilities for containment and disposal, leading to Claire, Ando, Peter, as well as Tracy to become fugitives from the people who were their former allies. In Japan, a powerless Hiro tries to live through the super-charger Ando as his latest partner. In New York, Peter struggles to find a life for himself as a paramedic, but finds that his cannot hide from his past. Claire learns about Nathan's and Angela's plans for interment of people with abilities and sets out to warn Matt Parkman who learns more about his abilities from the spirit of the African spiritualist Usutu. Elsewhere, Syler travels to Baltimore to locate his long-lost father and ends up being the only one who escapes from a government dragnet led by a mysterious agent known only as 'the Hunter'. Mohinder also learns that he has been targeted, and that Noah Bennett is apparently working with Nathan as well.

Episode 15: Chapter Two 'Trust and Blood'

Following the plane crash, the surviving heroes must team up with one another to try to survive the manhunt. Claire is quickly captured by her own father who takes charge of a "kill squad" to find the remaining people with abilities. Mohinder and a powerless Hiro must rely on Matt Parkman's spiritual guide to help them. Daphne makes contact with Ando to help her find Matt, unaware of the people now targeting them. In New Jersey, Syler takes refuge in the house of an agent and tries to get information to what's going on. Also, Peter teams up with Tracy to look for help, while she begins having second thoughts about running.

Episode 16: Chapter Three 'Building 26'

Imprisoned inside the super-secret 'Building 26' which is Nathan's base of operations to experiment and terminate people with abilities, Tracy struggles to survive various "heat" experiments as well as wait for an opportunity to try to escape. While the ruthless Hunter Davko obsessively continues to track down the heroes with the obsession of killing them all, Nathan deals with the President of the USA who begins to investigate Nathan's activities and tactics to hunt down the "targets". Meanwhile, Syler continues his quest to locate his biological father with both help and inference from Luke Campbell, as well as government agents now after both of them. Hiro, Ando, and Matt travel to India to find a new ally with abilities to help them survive. In California, Claire faces the wrath of her father.

Episode 17: Chapter Four 'Cold Wars'

Peter, Matt, and Mohinder drug and abduct Noah "H.R.G." Bennet and hold him captive in a seedy motel room so Matt can interrogate him to find out more about the people hunting them down, but predictably, it does not go as planned as Benett plans to turn them against each other, while Nathan and the sadistic Danko are looking for him. Noah's background story is revealed about how Nathan approached him to help the government's plan to round up people with special powers, and his awkward alliance with Danko who has his own agenda... as does Nathan.

Episode 18: Chapter Five 'Exposed'

Following a tip from their anonymous source "Rebel", Matt and Peter hurry to rescue Daphne from the holding facilities in 'Building 26' in Washington, and to find evidence that may expose the government's plans to capture those with powers. Meanwhile, Sylar uncovers the truth about his mother after he experiences past memories of his father at a disused diner located deep in the New Mexico desert. In California, Claire must find a way to sneak Alex out of her house which is under observation by FBI Agents, and Mrs. Bennet reluctantly agrees to help. Also, Hunter Danko hatches an explosive plan of his own to trap and kill another hero, and Claire has a run-in with an old villain she captured a while back.

Episode 19: Chapter Six 'Shades of Gray'

Now on his own, Sylar finally finds his biological father, Samson Gray, a reclusive, ***g-cancer ridden taxidermist, to confront him with questions about his past, but soon learns that Samson is not who he appears to be. Meanwhile, Nathan continues to lock horns with Danko over the hunter's tactics to eliminate people with abilities, after he tries to frame Parkman for an attempted suicide bombing. This leads to both Nathan and Danko going behind each others back to unseat the other. Nathan becomes wary about Danko going rogue and the hunter interrogating Tracy, as well as Nathan's mother, Angela, about Nathan's own ability. In California, Claire takes Alex's old job at the comic book store where she is given a message by 'Rebel' to help out her former nemesis, the puppet master Eric Doyle, when he too is targeted by rouge agents. Also, Hiro and Ando return to California where they are led by clue from Rebel... to an infant Matt Parkman.

Episode 20: Chapter Seven 'Cold Snap'

With Nathan now on the run, Emile Danko takes over the operations where Bennett urges him to release Tracy hoping it will lead them to the mysterious 'Rebel'. Then, thanks to a computer glitch, Tracy escapes from Building 21 along with Parkman, Mohinder, and a seriously wounded Daphne. While Parkman and Mohinder take Daphne to a nearby hospital for treatment, Tracy finally learns the identity of 'Rebel'. Meanwhile, Angela finds herself targeted by Danko's hit squad in which she turns to an old friend, named Millie, to help her get out of New York. In Los Angeles, Hiro and Ando find themselves looking after the infant Matt Parkman Jr. and learns that the baby also has a special ability... and is also targeted by Danko's men.

As the second season of Prison Break opens, things get moving along rather quickly. The conspiracy that was apparent in season one is even more farther reaching here, as revelations are made that will cost everyone involved dearly, and by the end of the season, not everyone that has been here since the beginning will still be standing. What makes Prison Break so good is that the show never relents from it's break neck pacing. This could easily be a bad thing, but the minds behind Prison Break manage to keep the constant flow stable enough so you never know what to expect next. Even with the major change of scenery for the main characters, the show stays more compelling than ever as it becomes a high octane game of cat and mouse. Undoubtedly one of (if not the) best shows on prime time network television today (and on Fox), Prison Break just keeps getting better, and by the end of the season finale, you'll be salivating for more.

Season 3 consists of 13 episodes, and continues from the second season finale, where most of the main characters ended up in Panama. While Lincoln Burrows is exonerated from his alleged crimes, Michael Scofield is imprisoned at Sona Federal Prison facing a homicide charge. Alexander Mahone, Theodore Bagwell, and Brad Bellick have also been incarcerated at Sona for various crimes in Panama. Michael and Lincoln are coerced by The Company into helping fellow convict James Whistler escape in exchange for the release of Sara and LJ. After a few failed attempts, Michael finally manages to break Whistler out of Sona (along with Mahone and friend, Luis Gallego). Though Lechero, Bagwell, and Bellick were in on the escape, they didn't make it out. The season ends with LJ being traded for Whistler. Lincoln, Sofia, and LJ are last seen in a hospital room; Lincoln stares out the window in ponderance. Sucre is last seen getting thrown into Sona for keeping his mouth shut. Luis Gallego is last seen with his family in Columbia, celebrating his return home. After killing Lechero, Bagwell is last seen being praised by the inmates of Sona. Mahone is last seen joining forces with Whistler and Gretchen in The Company. Michael Scofield is last seen in a car, driving down a Panamanian road, beginning his hunt for revenge on Gretchan Morgan and The Company for murdering the love of his life, Sara Tancredi. Series creator Paul Scheuring has stated the overall theme of it is "redemption".[4] Season 3 was originally scheduled to consist of 22 episodes, however due to the WGA strike this was cut short to 13.

Google - Behind the screen is an Dutch documentary
which aired in Australia the 04.07.2006 on SBS.

A wonderful documentary (47 mins) created by Ijsbrand van Veelen
features some interesting discussions with Marissa Mayer, Vint Cerf,
Ian Brown (Open Rights Group), Brewster Kahle (founder of Internet
Archive) and some Google engineers. They talk about PageRank, targeted
advertising, life at Google, user privacy, machine translation, the
story of "Don't be evil", book search, the danger of Google's monopoly,
Google Earth. The video is really well-made, it tries to be objective
by showing different opinions on the same subject, even though it's
more inclined towards conspiracy theories.

The documentary puts tough questions like: "How can you convince
people that Google isn't a Big Brother company?", "Can we see how
do you scan the books?", "Should the digitization of books be made
by a company like Google who may require fees to query the database
for a research project?", "What happens if a search engine becomes dominant?".

The season's main plot revolves around an assassination attempt on Maryland Senator David Palmer, a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, on the day of the California primary. The central character is Jack Bauer, a former Delta Force operator who is the Special Agent in Charge of the fictional Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) in Los Angeles. Bauer becomes professionally as well as personally involved when his wife Teri and daughter Kim are kidnapped by the people behind the assassination.
The season is essentially divided into two acts:
1. The first act revolves around a mercenary group's efforts to control Jack Bauer and force him to kill Senator Palmer by kidnapping Bauer's wife and daughter. This culminates in Jack's successful rescue of his family.
2. In the second act, the masterminds behind the plot are revealed and continue with their plans to kill the Senator as well as the Bauer family.

Season Two (2002-2003)
The season's main plot follows the work of now-President David Palmer and agent Jack Bauer to stop terrorists from detonating a nuclear bomb in Los Angeles. Introduced into the situation is Kate Warner, a woman who ends up getting vital information related to CTU's mission.

Like Season One, this season can also be essentially broken into two acts:

1. The first act involves CTU attempting to stop a Middle Eastern terrorist cell from detonating a nuclear bomb in Los Angeles.

Season Three (2003 - 2004)
The season's main plot revolves around the threat of biological terrorism—a deadly virus being released in Los Angeles—while President Palmer is visiting to participate in a debate with the chief opponent in his re-election campaign.

Season Three can be broken essentially into three acts (although all three revolve around securing the virus):

1. CTU must stop a terrorist threat of releasing a deadly virus into the Los Angeles populace if drug kingpin Ramon Salazar is not released from jail.
2. Jack must intercept the virus as it is sold in a transaction in Mexico.
3. The real villain of the day is discovered and CTU must stop him from spreading the weaponized virus strain.

Costa Rican Rain Forest
Each year, 500,000 Americans visit Costa Rica to explore some of the world’s most amazing and environmentally significant wilderness preserves. Last year alone, more than 50 visitors had to be rescued by the Red Cross. Bear sets out on an incredible jungle adventure as he parachutes into the rain forest of Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula to demonstrate how someone lost in the jungle can make it out alive. Hawaii - Mount Kilauea
The Big Island of Hawaii is home to the world’s most active volcano, Mount Kilauea. Since 1992, it has been in a state of constant eruption, spitting out clouds of poisonous sulphuric gases from the soil. Here, the landscape is denuded of plant life, devoid of water and few animals are ever seen. Beneath the unstable surface lies a river of molten rock boiling at temperatures above 2,000 degrees F. Surrounding this volcanic landscape is a dense rain forest, which offers environmental relief but features dangers of its own. To highlight the skills necessary to survive, Bear abseils from a helicopter into this treacherous expanse and demonstrates how to create a gas mask, escape from a moving lava flow, find water in a lava tube and get honey from a bee’s nest.
