Restarts? You mean, when you enter cmd in run and press enter, Windows will reset (not restart) at once without displaying any warnings?

Could be a problem with the Windows setup. It resets means a critical error occurs (BSOD, but this is by default, not shown). Since you don't have access to an Admin account, you can't disable automatic Windows reboot when a critical error occurs. So I don't know how to help you without knowing the source of the error. Maybe someone who's had the same experience can guide you through a resolution. :sorry:

I don't like School Computers at-all.
Ther are the most Worst Computers I have ever seen.

We have got 10 in our Com Lab.
But 4or 5 of them won't working.
Others are working, but Slowly...(They're P4 2.4GHz)

Even they r P4 2.4 GHz theyve got DDR400 128MB rams and the vga onboard.Too frm the bios they have allowed 64MB for the VGA.I turned all of them down to 16 so 96 will be available for system.Do it or u'll never gonna work with them. They will charge u extra 5000 rs to upgrade it to 256 MB AFAIK.

Huh? Even out P4 630 PCs with 512MB RAM are so slow. (I mean, in the Computer Lab at Electronics Department). I heard that they have got some new PCs with PentiumD's Haven't visited there ever since because of the training.
