Exporting bookmarks-:
As for saving your favorites, there are several options. Depending on your version of Microsoft Internet Explorer, one might work where another one won't. For the newer versions, you can export them directly from within MSIE:


Select Export and the click on "next."
Select Favorites and click on "next."
In the next window you can accept the default Save Directory or choose a new one. I suggest you select "Desktop" so you can easily find the file again. Click on "next."
Finally, click on "finish" and your Favorites will be saved to disk.

If your web browser is Opera, the location for the bookmarks is:
- For Opera 7:

in Windows Vista:
C:\Users\<Current User>\AppData\Roaming\Opera\Opera7\profile\opera6.adr

in Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<Current User>\Application Data\Opera\Opera7\profile\opera6.adr


- For Opera 8 and Opera 9:

in Windows Vista:
C:\Users\<Current User>\AppData\Roaming\Opera\Opera\profile\opera6.adr

Steps needed to configure the backup:


Open Backup4all and select File->New Backup (Ctrl+N).
On the first page, enter a name for the backup in the Backup Name field.

In the Where do you want to save the backup? section, you can select the backup destination. Click Next.
On the What do you want to backup page, add the bookmark's folder. Click Next.
On the third page, you can choose the backup type and the encryption.
Click Finish.

Dude find the folder where your saved sites are copy that to the correct location. If you are using Windows, use IE-its reliable
