Zekr is an open platform Quran study tool for simply browsing and researching on the Holy Quran. It is a Quran-based project, planned to be a universal, open source, and cross-platform application to perform most of the usual refers to Quran. The main idea is to build an as generic as possible platform to accept different Islamic resources. The current release, 0.4.0 supports scoped search through both Quran and translations. The latest download is 0.5.0 beta 2. The main feature for 0.5.0 release is bookmarking support. See Zekr plan (http://siahe.com/zekr/plan.xml) for more details on the Zekr plan.
