Recently i downloaded a key gen for a game. And i wish i hadnt:( . My Virus guard kept stoping me from downloading several other key generators but hey its just a key generator how da hel can a key gen b a bad ting? So i disabled my Virus guard (Very very bad thing to do) and i downloaded it
Well it turns out it has some spy ware and it completly corrupted my systems registry. Fortunatly there are some free anti spyhware programs at
www.download.com
and now my systems in a stable mode.

www.crack.ms
no porn .. n hopefully no spyware ..

That's what happens when you don't use torrent :D
If you use torrents, it is unlikely that you would get a virus, since all the people who share (upload) the files have to have the infected file also in their system. Unless you are some crazy guy, you wouldn't delibarately have viruses in your computer.
It would be better if you download from private torrents, because the policies are tight in those communities that you can't put your destructive motivations into action (otherwise they will ban you - immediately). And, don't ask me for any private torrent communities, because the ones that I know about are already closed for new signups (since they maintain a finite user base).

Thing is i did use a torrent downloader. But my Mcafee Virus Scanner didnt allow me 2 download it using my torrent downloader. So i turned it off.
Normaly those crack sites now include some spyware bundled with the keygen or crack. So when you run it you auto install the spyware/adware with the keygen or crack you want.
What i'm doing is just open that exe file from WinRAR. It's created as a self extracting archive file which auto runs the spyware/adware when you double click on it. When you open it in WinRAR you can check inside of that archive. Most probably you can find a file called “run” or same kinda meaning. it's the spyware/adware/virus. Just leave it and copy only the keygen file from the archive. If you unsure check extracted file from any anti virus program.
Then it'll be fine, you get only the keygen or crack. No spyware or virus!
Mostly that exe called “run” inside the archive contains the spyware/adware/virus.

Astalavista.us is a very bad site, onse you open their site you need to clean up the whole OS.

ting u guys need to be more aware abt hw to use stuff frm diff sites. crack sites might giv spyware etc.... u need to filter which is which. i thnk more u get experience on da net ull get used to it.

aint no probz wit keygenz... bein freakin usin em al ma life ;-) ... da probz dat certain site tries 2 instal malware on2 da comp once ya dload a keygen.. most o da crack sitez.. n some require 2 instal adware.. but basically wit a good anti-virus n firewal.. y worry....

You can use the extension called Ad-Block for Firefox to stop unwanted stuff from appearing on sites. It blocks components the URLs of the components so that they don't load, and/or blocks the frames when ads are shown.
