Find some lyrics from English songs and try to sing it. This make you practice your mouth to say word continually. after learning some songs. try to use those words
of the songs among your friends and family.

first spoken english would be the best way to get about it
rather than trying to cut through the thick jungle of grammar
and once you gain the confidence it will become second nature to you

in addition i would suggest keeping a diary
and religiously maintaining it in english

have a study friend with whom you can share your progress
Like going to the gym and having workout partners


best of all have to remember that there is no short cut to things like a language
but everything depends on the amount of effort you are willing to put

If you are interested in movies watch them and try to listen to what is being said rather than watching the action and if sinhala subs are available try to avoid it use it only as a guide

its difficult guys your mind keeps reading the sinhala subs but remember your goal to learning english rather than watching the movie
