If you can get over the requirements, however, the Ultimate Extras map pretty closely to previous Plus! packs. There are fun but pointless utilities like DreamScene, which provides an animated desktop background. And there are the truly useful utilities, like the Windows BitLocker Drive Preparation Tool, which arguably should be an integrated part of BitLocker, and not an Extra.

Wow! Dreamscene looks very resource hungry. :(

 That's what I thought too. Besides, 512MB is not even enough for Vista to run fast enough.

Problems won't be there. But the speed boost gained going from 512MB to 1GB is significant, unlike XP.

He will neeed another 512MB DDR1 ne?I can buy it for 5.9k with 2 years(kingston). So that means now it is cheap. In another 2-3 weeks it'll get low more.I'm sure then he'll hav one.

I just can't wait for the 2GB RAM to become mainstream. You know, at Newegg, there are certain 2GB RAM kits (1GBx2) for around the price of 1GB here. They are not crappy, no name brands, but Value RAM. Besides, all we get here is Value RAM ne?

I know. That's why I said, I can't wait for 2GB to become mainstream. But analysts predicts that this won't happen until 2008-2009 :(
