64MB video RAM minimum, but you can't use the cool Aero Glass interface. 128MB minimum for Aero Glass.

Depends. You need a DX9 supported card for Aero Glass. That's a Geforce FX and Radeon 9500 and up.

is nVidia good??
Both nVidia and ATI are good. But they have ultra bidget cards such as FX5200 or Radeon 9200. You should try to avoid them, if you can.

Geforce 6600LE 256MB is Rs.8,250 at one of the shops at Unity - first floor, opposite to the lift. Can't remember the name of the shop though.
And it was a no-name brand. One of my friends bought it. He's happy with it. Not state of the art, but OK.

Oh that's too bad. Anyway, remember, these cards perform marginally well. Not really good cards for gaming. If you want to play latest games (still, these might not be the upcoming games), you have to go with a 7600GS.
