(LeN- 2007 Feb. 14, 6.45pm) Sources from Temple Trees revealed that Anura Bandaranaike who was recently stripped off his ministry will be sworn in again as a Minister before the president tomorrow, which is also his birth day. It had been proposed that he should assume duties on Monday as there was no auspicious time tomorrow. But Bandaranaike had insisted that he be sworn in tomorrow itself. However after a lengthy discussion the relevant parties had agreed to swear in the minister on Monday.
It is also being reported that he might be appointed as the governments special envoy for foreign relations. If so Bandaranaike would here after travel with the president on all his foreign tours.
Bandaranaike who met with the president at around 10 this morning had embraced Rajapakse and cried. The president had also told the former Minister that he would be treated well if he remains faithful to Rajapakse.
