AVG remover tool

Ihave my laptop with windows vista home premium installed'
It also has a free edition of AVG 8 installed;
Now I want to install Kaspersky 2009.But when I put the CDKaspersky it says to remove avg.So I downloaded AVG remover(32bit) tool uninstalled AVG.But again I failed installation saying to remove AVG .
Please advice me what to do?
