it is not illigal...i bought 1 which was advertised in HITAD.. but the thing is some people say u need a licence but i dont have but you cannot fly above the radar level thats all..if u dont fly above that itl be ok..it is safe to buy and of cource thy will charge in customs..

another thing >> parts of these are very small and getting broken very soon if u dont use it carefully..it is designed for light weight and there is a posibility of blown it away from wind..the main device in this is the motor..which is high speed and small in size and its expensive..if u can get one of those u can create one for ur self.. i have created a hour craft using those
