If you use FB a lot, especially to chat with people then you’ll be glad to know that now you can do it without using a browser. You can chat with FB contacts and see FB updates using a stand-alone Windows IM client (similar to MSN Live and Yahoo messenger)
Digsby is a multiprotocol IM client, which means you can use it to connect to many different IM networks like Yahoo, MSN, AIM and GoogleTalk all at the same time!. Using a single program. Multiprotocol IM clients are not new, they’ve been around for ages, Trillian is one such client for Windows, and there are many more for Linux. But AFAIK digsby is the fist client to support social networks such as Facebook, Myspace and Twitter. It also supports email notifications, so this client basically has everything you need to stay connected.
