Problem in my phone

i have a problem in my phone. when you send an SMS you get the dilivery report. In my phone when i get the delivery report the time is not accurate. For example i sent and just now @ 8.30. it was deliverd then and there. but in the delivery report says "deliverd 5.20 am"

any of you have any idea what's wrong with it?:( :( :( :(

after u got the del:report,ask him(sms reciver)the time he recive the sms?,and check whether is it matching with ur del:report time.
if is it maching so there is a huge deley normaly this isnt happening in with in same netwrk but ur saying its happing right?

some times it can be like this... you know GMT time.. i think you have mistakenly put something else. it have to be -6 GMT time. because of that.. your delivery report time can be changed

gmt time zone probs ane i have the same problem with em.try putting gmt +6 for the time zone in your phones time settings then it'll be ok

aiyo no need to change the phone men the problem is gmt time zones she must've set it to some other than gmt +6,i'm saying +6 cuz i've set it to +5.30 and the delivery report is 30 mins back

No it's nothing the others said. Theres no problem with the network or anyhting. I know the problem. I faced the same problem once. Here is the solution.

In your phone under "Settings" go to "Time and Date". There you will find an option called the "Time Zone". Change the current setting to "GMT+5.30". Thats the Sri Lankan time zone as u know. The delivery report operates according to that.

Hope ur satisfied with the solution.

thanks guys for helping me. well.. as now the problem is solved...but i did nothing. i didn't change the time zone or anyhitng. Last night i sent an SMS at 10.11pm the report said 6.56 pm. then i switched it off and went to sleep. then today in the morning i sent an SMS at 7.08 am ..... after that i got the report saying deliverd 7.08 am. i did nothing the phone has done it by it self. May it's a miracle. i don't know. anyway now the time is accurate... but i'm not sure for how long...
