When the complete Adobe Creative Suite 3 package is revealed on March 27 (http://www.winmatrix.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=12361), Adobe will announce not one, but two distinct flavors of Photoshop, including a standard Photoshop CS3 and the new Photoshop CS3 Extended.

Using Photoshop Extended, film experts can build 3-D models and edit textures within video frames, while animators can embed 3-D objects into 2-D compositions. Web designers will be able to create animations from static images that can be exported into both QuickTime, MPEG-4 and Flash Video.

Woah! So Adobe are incorporating Macromedia features into their flasgship product. Of course, they can do that because Macromedia is Adobe's. Cool stuff.

It reminds me how I can view word docs etc. inside Outlook without opening them in Word. It's not the same thing, but that interoperability is nice.
