Windows Defender is a free program that helps protect your computer against pop-ups, slow performance, and security threats caused by spyware and other unwanted software. It features Real-Time Protection, a monitoring system that recommends actions against spyware when it's detected and minimizes interruptions and helps you stay productive. Now with 2 free support incidents for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.

Defender Sucks, i suggest Spyware doctore (4.x) or simply use kaspersky,
If anyone needs a crack to spyware doctore with unlimited online updates just ask me.......

Anyway, afaik, this is the same build we have in Vista. That's a relief. I thought MS were supporting XP more than Vista. This is just a "renaming".

Software which uses cracks cannot be trusted. If it can be cracked, it can be bypassed.
Besides, who gets spyware anyway? :lol:

macho it doesnt suck bcoz we dnt need 2 inst a spyware prog agn itz easy n itz better

That depends machcho, coz cracking means it's a lack of security in products registry system not in it's functionality.
And about spy ware u will be sorry the day u get one, and prevention is lot better than cure remember... :lol:

Well that depends on what amount of security u expect from the program, i have tested it and trust me it's not a defender as it says.....
And if u are u normal user(without network) well i might go with defender...:D

Thats true now a day anti virus programs like KIS or NOD does the job..
What do u think about norton 360,

Well am a registered beta tester for Norton 360 and if u need to backup ur files(norton 360 will give u hard space in symantec server) and if ur using creadit cards i recommended Norton 360, coz it has a secure method in money transfer... :cool:

Defender is free if u have a genuin xp copy and if u have vista it's built in...
Defender is not a virus guard it's just acting as a Malicious software removal tool. (but has good options and control).

Yes AVG is good but KIS i can recommend....
Actually machchang that depends on the security u expect, if u need max security and if u believe there will be spyware threats or malware threats to ur pc by navigating the sites u do then KIS is good, but for a normal user AVG will just do fine... :yes:
