Even though those burst rates are great, this drive is not even close to some of the less "boasting" drives in the market. For example, check this out: http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/memory/display/4gb-usbflash-roundup_14.html

Only in sequential writing of large files. When it comes to small files or random accessing, it is much slower than some competitors.

This could be fast, but it is not that expensive. Of course it's expensive compared to the Kingston DataTraveller and the other low-end products. 4GB is about US$110, but in USA.

4GB is there. Not sure about any higher capacities.
