The Gemini 2U server houses two motherboards in a single chassis, an approach that lets Open Source Systems pack in more hard drives and use larger energy-saving fans to keep the systems cool. The front view shows the 12 drives, and the back view shows the dual motherboards.

The Gemini 2U, including two motherboards, costs between $10,000 and $105,000, The top-end configuration employs 750GB hard drives and 64GB of memory on each server.
