Have you guyz watched Stargate series! :confused:

The first season was played on ITN long time back and they stoped it from the end of the first season. :angry:

I liked it so much, so as soon as i've got my ADSL connection i've started downloading all the seasons. It has 10 seasons and the 10th season just started playing on Sci Fi. I've downloaded 9 seasons and still downloading the 10th one.

All the seasons can be download using torrents (www.torrentspy.com). :yes:


All the stargate fans watch all the seasons you will be suprised with the storyline for sure. Very interesting! ;)

I haven't seen the 10th season yet. So far the storyline is much much better. After the 10th season im gonna watch stargate atlantis. ;)

In case if you dont know this:

Hey just compress those using divx (1 episode = 350mb) dvd quality and upload it into rapidshare or something.

Rapidshare maximum file size is 100mb or something so you can use winrar to split the files. In bonus you will get a premium account from them for a month if your files got hits. ;)

I have (and watched) all the episodes of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis shown up to now. That's 9 seasons + 6 episodes of SG-1 and 2 seasons and 6 episodes of Atlantis. I, too, like Atlantis more than SG-1. Ever since O'Neill left the SG-1 (i mean, as the member of SG-1), it's lost that humour factor.

Last episode of SG-1 sucked! BTW, both shows are shown parallely now. Same characters appear in each, more often than before.

Replicators came up in Atlantis? WTF! But their origin is completely different from the replicators in SG-1.

All the episodes are available at tvtorrents.com. New episodes are added on Saturdays. You can sign up there. If it requires an invitation code, leave it blank and proceed.

umm ya ne.. but the thing is Atlantis is not that good than SG-1

Well, each person's tastes are different. I can't argue about it. For me, Atlantis is better.

Something is gone missing in SG-1, but I can't tell exactly what it is. It used to be the best. Anyway, the last SG-1 episode was pathetic, like they have run out of ideas.

Yeah that is it. But there is more. I miss the good old Goa'ulds. :D This O-ri (don't know how to spell it) guys are not cool. I mean, they wear cloaks and how the heck do they know how to build ships with inpenetrable shield?

Anyway, did anyone know that Stargate SG-1 (TV Series) started after a movie? I have that movie. The actors are different and O'Neill's name is spelt with only one 'L' :D

Stargare Atlantis is a new season built around the mysteries of The Lost City of Atlantis the people at Stargate Command were trying to find so desperately. Daniel Jackson finally was able to figure out the gate address to Atlantis, and they send a team (huge team, in fact) to find it, explore it and obtain any new technologies.

Enough spoilers :D. If you liked SG-1, you will love this one.

Stargate Atlantis starts off when SG-1 finally finds the location of the city Atlantis. It is in another galaxy. SG-1 has been looking for the city of Atlantis for a while. It was once inhabited by a group of beings, called the Ancients, who now live in a higher plane of existence. They think that Atlantis will have a lot of weapons and other technology which will help them fight their enemies. A large team of people are sent to Atlantis. The problem is that, Earth has a thing called a ZPM, which helps power the gate enough to make a wormhole to the other galaxy, but when they go through the gate, they won't have a ZPM to get back to Earth. Throughout the first season, they explore Atlantis, investigate the different technologies, and explore the worlds in the galaxy.

Yes I think you are right. Sci-fi isn't the original company that took the contract, was it? Hopefully some other company will agree to show it up.

btw I think I saw thw Atlantis team in SG1..remember when Daniel n Vala went to retrieve some info about Merlin's weapon frm the library in Atlantis..I think they showed the whole crew..the freak scientst n all..lol
man SG1 needs a bik kik..hopefully O Neill will sho up coz he has got ancient history downloaded into his memory..first I liked when ppl were gettin promoted..then it all hapnd so fast even the Stargate commander had to leave the show..not wat I expect to see in a tv show:rolleyes:

I watched all the seasons within the last three months. There was about two weeks' break moving from 4th season to 5th season as the download speeds were very bad.

One day I watched 7 episodes in row (from around 1230hrs to around 1730hrs :D)

Well I'm on 512kBps ADSL. Since Stargate is a very popular series, you can find a lot of seeders at tvtorrents.com. Most of the times, I have been able to hit the ceiling of the bandwidth my connection provides. I can download an episode within 2 hours, and if I leave the computer 24 hours a day, I can download about 3-4GB everyday. That's almost half a season ;)

why cant u wait just another week? :P Thats what I do with the Atlnatis series. The day after the airing of the episode, there are only about 10 peers, on next friday (when the next episode is aired) there are about 100 peers :D

Yeah that's what im also doing. Normally i dont have much to do on saturday and sunday so what im doing is, im downloading it on weekdays while im working on the office and watch it on weekend. :)

Since one episode is not enough im downloading some other TV series as well so that way i have plenty of thing to watch on the weekend. :) :) :D

You really think that I download one or two episodes and wait for another nice one to come my way to download and leave the connection idle all that time? Don't be fooled :D I have downloaded so many episodes of so many TV series that I'm I can have my connection disconnected for 2 months and still not being able to finish all I've downloaded.

Dark Angel Season 2, Fast Lane Season 1, Battlestar Gallatica Season 1, Doctor Who Season 1 are in the queue. I can't watch as much as I download. I wonder when it will stop. Either I will have to buy hard drives every 6 months, or I will have to hundreds of DVDR.

I watched season 5 of 24. Can't remember a damn thing about the previous seasons as I didn't follow it on TV that well.

I have watched both seasons of Lost. I have prison break season1, but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I am watching Alias these days - still in Season 2 though. But I have all the seasons of Alias.

BTW, a new episode of Prison Break season 2 is to be shown today.
I also like CSI:Miami. Have all 4 seasons of it. But only have watched the latest one. Downloaded the other three as I couldn't figure out what to download.
I burned 20 DVDs last weekend. Still I have tons of GB to burn. Out of $$$ to buy more DVDs, until 2nd ot September. Then it will be another burning spree for me :D

Just think I downloaded all these within the last 5 months or so. The 4400 download finished btw. Dark Angel S02 and 24 S02 are being downloaded at 25kBps each (=50kBps ~ bandwidth limit of my connectio). So didn't bother downloading another one along with them.

I already have 2 160GB Samsung HDDs (same model :)). Currently out of IDE ports. Thinking about buying a PCI IDE controller card (possibly something that supports RAID0) and another drive very soon. I can have those Samsung HDDs in a RAID0 then.

best is empty dvds... write now in i have 560GB(over 100 dvds) dvd library... i just also baught 100 empty dvds for backup

Those CD Albums are not for me. They slightly scratch the DVDs when taking them out and putting them in. More you take them out, more they get scratched. I don't let anyone else borrow them either, since people don't take much care about them.

iam buying dvds from pettah arnd Rs40 when u buy bulk... i use melody.. it does matter which brand as long s u dont give them to others :D

Those Imation disks look OK, but not as good as the Mitsubishi Chemical 8X or Verbatim 16X DVD+Rs I used to buy for Rs.85 each!. But if you can get them for Rs.40, then it's very good. Have you ever been able to find 16X DVDRs from Imation or TDK that work like a charm? (for that price :D)
