Yeah, i guess a variant of zip (nt sure), files shud be compressed thru a command line app named UHARC.exe, try...

Well, 7-Zip should be better. I don't like the GUI much though. Wished WinRAR could give 7-Zip's performance :(

I hav installd 7-zip, but nt using much, due to GUI, not listed on context menu ...etc, gave up :D
And still i hav a lot free space ;)

Well, am nt sure whether i hav disabled it on 7-zip's options :D
And anthr reason for nt using 7-zip is portability

Portability doesn't concern me. Why I use 7-zip is because of one reason. One CRITICAL reason. It's 64bit!!! It's still faster in 32bit than WinRAR. It's even faster in 64bit.

"Okay" doesn't sound too convincing though :D
If anyone can find a Highly Compressing Tool Like Vista CD Compress (700MB to 1.5MB) I'll move....
