Is it brand new? Is the seller trusted? Check his feedback for previous transactions. It's a risk but it might come out OK.
Most probably it will not be brought to your house, but to the post office. They will then send you a slip in the mail saying to collect it. It happens with big parcels.

check the shpping method if its USPS then ok but make sure a registered post one
but before all these things
did they release PS3 slim i dont think so hmmm
also ask SLMEGA then can bring down products like this for good price bcz when you get from ebay they charge tax and if you donno to talk properly they will rip you off

Why don't you send a msg to the seller and ask about that as I did. And if you are living in colombo area it wouldn't be a big problem. But if you live outside the colombo area somewhat it is may be a problem. However the ebay seller will send it you to sri lanka. The problem is here mail service. You know about that ne bro. However ps3 slim is a great choice by comparing other consoles. :yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:

If you have any doubt about that try to tell that seller whether he can send it through Fedex or DHL. It won't be hurt to ask so you are paying for that. :):):):)

I am also not sure about the whole tax thing, but if you are buying it from an individual (as opposed to a shop) tell him/her to mark the item as "gift" & undervalue the amount. I've got stuff down like that without a problem (but not consumer electronics).
