*How to Install for Non-Genuine Windows Xp Users


step 1 : install WinRaR

step 2 : file name of the wmp 11 setup is "wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe", now right click this file, in the menu that pops up click on the option "Extract to wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu\"

step 3 : after extraction is done, there will be a new folder named "wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu"(this folder is usually the last folder inside the current folder)

step 4 : go inside this folder and double click and install "wmfdist11.exe", THEN restart the computer.

step 5 : now go to that same folder and install "wmp11.exe". AND IT IS DONE!

try this methord.if didnt work let me no..

1) Open Internet Explorer

2) Go to Tools menu > Internet Options...

3) Click on Programs tab.

4) Click the Manage Add-ons.... button

5) Scroll down to the "Windows Genuine Advantage" add-on (they should be in alphabetical order).

6) After you click on it, there is a settings box below all the add-ons. In there are Enable/Disable radio buttions. Just click Disable, then OK, then Apply, and you are set

wel if that doesnt wrk add the followin steps to it

1. Launch Windows Update website.

2. When prompted to choose either Express or Custom in Windows Update, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security and choose Internet.

3. Set the Security Level for Internet zone to High by sliding the slider to the top.
4. Click OK to continue.

5. Now on Windows Update, click on Custom. Ignore any warning about ActiveX control been blocked.

6. WGA validation will be bypassed, and you will see a list of updates available to your system or a blank page.

7. Now go back to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security and choose Internet, and change back the Security Level to Medium, or simply click Default.

8. Click OK to continue.

9. If you see a blank page, click on any link under Select by Type or Select by Product that listed on the left pane to show the list of updates available.


try this only if the other way doesnt work

Deffa all those things will only work for Windows Update only. Not for the products that checks for WGA validation.

you can do the DLL replace method (place this on your win\system32 directory and restart

rename those files to some other name and reboot.

This program is archived using some microsoft windows archiver so you will be able to extract the files inside it using winrar. Once done you will get several files(some exe files,*.ini,*.dlls and *.pls files).

Run wmfdist11.exe (shud b in the folder where u extracted the program)

Restart ur pc

RUN wmp11.exe (Restart maybe needed)

Well try this method then ;)

Get some money and go shoping :) ,goto a computer shop and ask for genuine windows XP with the genuine sticker on it. and register with microsoft after instalation and make sure they can trace your purchase informations. :cool: :cool:

Ok.

I have used WMP11 beta in both XP and Vista beta 1 (hey I downloaded it and installed it as the second OS) and all I can tell is that they have improved some features from WMP10 and at the same time have killed some of the important things.

Pros.
1. The media library is hell cool (small bugs are there - hey it's still a beta) and searching is very efficient
2. WMA10 support (but this can be added to WMP10 by installing the codec)
3. In Vista, it is beautiful!!!! (but nothing more)

Cons.
1. Don't play with the media in your library (renaming, tag editing) because it screws up everything (that is only if you have a well organized media collection right now)
2. The timer (elapsed and remaing) are not shown so we have to use our own imagination
... and some minor bugs (nothing alarming though)

There is a hacked setup floating around (in torrent sites), which would by-pass WGA check.
