Gigabyte GeForce 8600GTS goes on sale

With lots of sites bypassing Nvidia's NDA (non disclosure agreement) we already know a lot of details of its upcoming GeForce 8600GTS so, the next logical step is to decide whether to buy it or not. Unfortunately, the card's release is still five days away but fortunately, if you want it then all you have to do is direct your attention to eWiz[dot]net which now has on sale Gigabyte's fanless 8600GTS model we mentioned earlier. The card comes at stock clocks (675MHz core/2000MHz memory), bundles Gas Powered Games' Supreme Commander, boasts Gigabyte's SilentPipe 3 cooling system and costs $214.24. In case the site takes down the page we have taken a quick picture with the card and listed specifications. Hype it!

Found another... \/ (PNY)

[H]ard|Forum user Maximusneo701 would like to share a picture of a PNY GeForce 8600 GTS with us. His supervisor at Best Buy apparently jumped the gun a tad and placed their stock on the shelf. Maximusneo701 says that the video card is slated to be released on April 22nd. That date probably comes from Best Buy's inventory system. I am still expecting to see the 8600 GTS and its friends appear on the Internet on the 17th of April.

Ekata ne me try karanne!!!Kohoma hari DX10 card ekak ganna.Eye oya mage mathaya thahavuru kala ne DX10 cards are far better than DX9 kiyala.(of course in DX10 using apps).Dan ithin ekama thama ganna ona.
Dont knw whether EVGA is gonna hit the block soon.They come cheap and Lifetime warranty!!

But you have to send it abroad to RMA ne? That's the problem. You know what? I now can afford a 8800GTS 320MB for US$278 ;) If only I had the correct contacts :rolleyes: :(
