All the Dialog GSM subscribers can send text messages from any part of the world to their friends or businesscontacts in Sri Lanka via the Internet while they are abroad.These Messages can be sent only to other DialogGSM subscribers and only 15 phone numbers can be included at a time. And the aximum number of characters per message is 160. If the phone is powered off or out of range, messages are stored in the network and will be delivered when they are on or reachable in the network.
Benefits.You pay only 2.35 cents for each message (every 160 characters) sent locally.
The incoming messages are normally free.

Sending SMS from Web site will allow you to send SMS to recipients who are customers of Dialog GSM. You can even send one message to many friends.Your mobile number will be shown as the sender.Each sms you will be charged Rs. 1.00/-.

To send and receive short messages, you have to preset a Message Centre number (+9477000003).After reading your mobile phone manual,you must do this only one time.

1: Enter Menu Mode on your handset
2: Select MESSAGES
3: Select WRITE MESSAGES
4: Select MESSAGES SETTINGS (for some hand phone models if necessary)
5: Select option for MESSAGE SERVICE CENTRE number or its equivalent
6: Enter Message Centre Number: +9477000003
7: Confirm selection.

TO SEND SMS FROM DIALOG WEBSITE YOU MUST BECOME A MEMBER.
